The likes of Simon Cowell and Dragon’s Den’s Duncan Bannatyne have called for stars to use their own money to prop up struggling businesses, as Victoria Beckham and Richard Branson ask for government help during the Covid-19 crisis.
The coronavirus pandemic has hit the world economy hard and while Richard has asked for the government to help bail him out as Virgin Atlantic faces going under, Simon and Duncan have insisted they won’t be doing the same thing.
When it comes to Duncan, he went one step further and shared his disappointment on social media minted stars were asking for taxpayer help.
