DUNCAN Bannatyne took to social media earlier today to thank the NHS as he announced the birth of his newest grandchild. Duncan, 71, shared the happy news on Twitter on Sunday morning amid the global coronavirus pandemic. "Thank you NHS & Everyone at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

My daughter arrived at your doors late yesterday afternoon and very soon after had a beautiful baby daughter," he wrote. "Thank you for working and being wonderful," the former Dragon's Den star added.

Duncan is already a father-of-six and now has three grandchildren. The businessman shares four daughters, Hollie, Abigail, Jennifer and Eve, with his first wife Gail and another two children, Emily and Thomas, with second wife Joanna.
