Get the stories that interest you straight to your inbox every day with our personalised newsletterThousands of coronavirus home test kits will be made available in South Ayrshire from tomorrow morning.Council bosses have obtained 5000 kits to tackle the 'silent spread' of the virus.And starting tomorrow (Friday), residents who are not displaying symptoms will be able to test themselves.The kits, which are provided by the NHS, will be distributed from pop-up facilities set up in Ayr's Kincaidston Bowling Club and Lochside Community Centre and Maybole Town Hall.You don’t need to make an appointment to collect a kit, with pick-up and returns available at any of the three locations between 10am – 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and 8.30am.
