A super-fit marathon runner was killed by coronavirus – just days after first developing a temperature. Nuclear engineering graduate Donny Fostner, 34, was struck down by Covid-19 in virus hotspot New York City, where he worked as a quantitive trader.
He sent worried parents Rod and Jenny a picture of his temperature every day until he was rushed to a coronavirus ward on April 2.
He died within hours of them learning he had been taken to hospital. Jenny wept: “The world has lost a tender soul, and heaven has gained one.
That’s my son in a nutshell. “We know he was being so careful too. He did not take the subway. He did not take taxis or Ubers.
