DA: NY man to be charged in connection with unprovoked attack on 3 women in South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - A New York man who was captured on Ring doorbell camera violently punching three women on a sidewalk in Philadelphia will now face charges, according to authorities. The Philadelphia District Attorney tells FOX 29's Steve Keeley that Malcolm White, 36, will face charges connected to the attack. According to police, the attack happened on the 2900 block of Morris Street around 11 p.m. on June 15. Authorities say as White walked beside a group of three women, he punched one of them in the face and punched the others as they intervened. Authorities are searching for a man captured on doorbell camera attacking three women who were walking down a Philadelphia street.The attack left one woman with a broken nose and two other women with swelling and facial lacerations. PHILADELPHIA - A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of Francis "Frankie" Decero, a Philadelphia man whose body was found shot, stabbed and burned in May, police say.Joseph Rodriguez, 22, has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Decero, who was reported missing from his home on April 26. Surveillance video obtained by FOX 29 shows him double-parking his Jeep near the intersection of 13th and Biglore Streets before he gets into another car that drove off. Decero’s Jeep was located somewhere different with no gas, and he was nowhere to be found. On May 4, officers found an unresponsive male in the area of 31st and Tasker Streets after a group of juveniles said they saw the body in the brush on Douglas Street. Police told FOX 29’s Kelly Rule that they were investigating if Decero was tortured because his body was found shot, stabbed, beaten and burned. Investigators originally followed a lead that Decero might have been targeted over recent lottery winnings, according to a source.

Police say another assault happened on April 21 at 1:00 a.m. in the area of Kensington Avenue and Huntingdon Street in Kensington when a 29-year-old woman was approached by a man in a silver sedan offering a ride, authorities say. The woman accepted and the suspect showed a gun, forced the woman into the back seat and sexually assaulted her in the area of 2600 Kensington Avenue, according to officials. Police say he also stole her iPhone 11 before dropping her off on Broad Street. Authorities are searching for a charcoal gray Dodge Charger four-door sedan made between 2016 and 2020.
