A Tesco Extra superstore has been hit with a Covid-19 outbreak as multiple workers come down with the virus. Tesco confirmed the outbreak saying a "small number of colleagues" had tested positive.

WalesOnline caught wind of the staff outbreak at the Pengam Green Tesco Extra in Cardiff, with the retail giant making a statement about it today.

It has not been disclosed how many Tesco workers have contracted the potentially deadly virus. Are supermarkets doing enough to be Covid-secure?
