Wayne Lineker was left devastated after being forced to cancel his highly-anticipated Dubai nightclub opening amid a spike in coronavirus cases.
The nightlife entrepreneur, 58, made the announcement on Instagram with a "heavy heart" as he told fans he now plans to open the club next autumn.
Sharing a statement with his 523k Instagram followers, disappointed Wayne penned: "Time to share this sad news with you. "@obeachdubai was due to open in the coming weeks but due to current times and being unable to get on site and build our amazing dream and plans we will be delaying the opening for now." He added: "Work will start very soon and we will update you ASAP with our new opening plans.
