CEO Georges Kern takes his Spring Summit online, introducing timepieces including the Superocean Heritage ’57 Capsule Collection Last year, Breitling announced that it would no longer be participating in the Baselworld watch fair (a prelude to this week's mass boycott).

Instead, the brand had decided to concentrate on the ‘Summit’ format that it introduced in 2018, inviting retailers and press to key global locations, where CEO Georges Kern would personally present the upcoming products.

Then along came Covid-19, indiscriminately squashing plans whether they affected hundreds of brands – as with the big shows – or individual ones.
