Telly duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made £15,124 a day last year as the pair got their TV careers back on track. The monster sum makes up just part of their earnings that are paid into one of their firms called Hurley Promotions Ltd.

The firm – named after the dog Ant shares with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong – has seen profits increase to £5.5 million for last year.

That’s £1 million up on 2018 when 44-year-old Ant took an extended leave of absence from TV screens to go to rehab after he crashed his car while over the drink-drive limit in March 2018.

He pulled out of the remaining episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway, which was mid-series during the smash in west London, leaving Dec to present by himself.
