The mum of a seven-month-old baby that has been diagnosed with coronavirus is urging people to stop treating lockdown as "one big holiday".
Courtney Barker, whose youngest child Arthur was rushed into hospital on Thursday, believes "the Government needs to be more strict" and people need to "stop risking lives" by leaving the home for unnecessary trips.
She praised the NHS, which is under immense pressure, for their "amazing" efforts, the Plymouth Herald reports. Courtney, 23, said: "The staff and doctors in A&E and on the ward were amazing, and even the ambulance crew.
They were so fast." Courtney says that she, her husband Kenyon and their nine-year-old son are all now showing symptoms of Covid-19.
