Gorka Marquez has been branded his co-star's 'best friend' as she sent an emotional message after speaking out on 'trauma' and 'toxicity'.

Karen Hauer was responding to her fellow Strictly Come Dancing star and dance partner's post as he ended the year with a little look back on 2023.

Gorka, 33, took to Instagram with a string of snaps taken at different points throughout the year. The carousel of images started with a photo of him with his fiancee Gemma Atkinson and their daughter, Mia, with the photo used at the start of 2023 to announce he was set to become a dad again.

There were then pictures taken on holidays and when the Strictly cast reunited as well as a sweet unseen photo of his son, Thiago, who was born in July.
