The Manchester boxer surprised fans earlier this week when he shared a snap from his hospital bed. Tommy, 24, had been seen the day before celebrating his daughter Bambi's first birthday alongside Molly-Mae, also 24, before he underwent a procedure on his hand.

The dad-of-one told his followers that he has been dealing with a hand injury for four years and that he will take time away from his boxing career to "heal".

Sharing the picture of him sat up in his hospital bed with his right hand in bandages, Tommy explained: "Since 2019 I have been dealing with a hand injury that I’ve never spoken about/shared online.
