Benfica have told Manchester United and Wolves their star striker Carlos Vinicius cannot leave for anything less than his €100million release clause.
The Premier League rivals have been linked with a summer move for the Brazilian striker. Vinicius, 25, is the leading scorer in the Portuguese top flight after hitting 15 goals in an impressive debut season for the second-placed side.
Reports in Portugal claim Wolves could be willing to go as high as £53m for the ace, who is under contract until 2024 and has also been named as a potential United target.
But understands Vinicius has a huge release clause worth £88m and Benfica are standing by it after signing him from Napoli for £15m last summer.
