An Azerbaijan-born political commentator and photojournalist has posted a moving thread on Twitter detailing why moving to Scotland was the "best decision he ever made".

Posting a series of stunning photographs he has taken himself, Fuad Alakbarov explained in the post that he moved to Glasgow 20 years ago and though he quickly realised he liked the people, he added that he didn't like the city at first.
