Black Lives Matter protest planned for London this weekend has been called off. Organisers feared the Saturday demonstration in Hyde Park would run into conflict with far-right counter-protesters who are planning to travel to the capital tomorrow. The Democratic Football Lads Alliance (DFLA), a group of right-wing activists, has told its supporters to meet at Winston Churchill's statue in Westminster for a "patriotic unity" event."The DFLA are asking all our members to meet in Whitehall on Saturday 13 June at midday to protect our war memorials," the group said."This is not a march nor is it a counter-protest against Black Lives Matter.
