Britain is facing a "kitten crisis" with over 80,000 extra cats set to be born this summer due to lockdown.Animal welfare charities are urging pet owners to keep their cats inside as they are already feeling the strain.The boom, estimated to be around 84,000 extra kittens, is being fuelled by lockdown.This is because fewer vets have been carrying out neutering procedures.One man from Harrow found himself with a house full of 17 cats during the lockdown after his unneutered female cat became pregnant.
