Britney Spears will remain under conservatorship until late summer after a judge extended the order. The Oops… I Did It Again singer is due to have a hearing on the ongoing matter of her conservatorship but the coronavirus pandemic has delayed the court process.
According to Entertainment Tonight who obtained documents, judge Brenda Penny issued an order confirming that Britney’s temporary conservator, Jodi Montgomery, will stay on until at least 22 August 2020.
Montgomery, the pop star’s longtime care manager, stepped in as conservator after Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, removed himself from the order in September, after managing the singer’s financial and medical affairs since 2008.
