Britney Spears’ conservatorship has been extended until August, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight.Spears’ father, Jamie, stepped down as her conservator due to ongoing health issues in September, and handed over his responsibilities to the star’s longtime care manager, Jodi Montgomery.According to Entertainment Tonight, Judge Brenda Penny issued an order authorizing Montgomery to remain in the position until at least August 22, 2020.The extension comes after the judge decided a hearing on the matter could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Jamie has been responsible for the Toxic hitmaker’s welfare and finances since 2008.
