Watford centre-back Craig Cathcart has opened up on his experience of playing against Bruno Fernandes and revealed why the Manchester United playmaker is so difficult to handle.
Former United defender Cathcart was in the Watford side that lost 3-0 in Fernandes' fourth appearance for the club, which saw the Portuguese international bag his first Old Trafford goal - from the penalty spot.
United paid an initial £47million to sign Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in the January transfer window and he had an immediate impact, scoring three and recording four assists in his first nine games - before the season was suspended due to coronavirus.
