Manchester United star Fred has impressed in recent weeks, appearing to have overcome his earlier struggles. The Brazilian midfielder cost United £50m in the summer of 2018 and struggled, originally under Jose Mourinho, and then with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in charge.
But, since the turn of the year, Fred has impressed in the middle of the park and has struck up a strong partnership with Nemanja Matic.
Bruno Fernandes has also bolstered the ranks for Solskjaer with United performing well before the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to the season.
Fred’s improvement comes despite not starting the first seven Premier League games of the current campaign. But, since coach Martyn Pert arrived in October, the 27-year-old has grown stronger and
