Housing and Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick has given the green light for construction sites to reopen now despite the coronavirus lockdown continuing in the UK.

The UK has been in lockdown since March 23, but on Thursday Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the peak of infections had now passed.

The lockdown is due for its second review next Thursday - on May 7 - as six weeks will have passed and they are obliged to renew arrangements every three weeks.
