Neighbours living on a Salford estate have been using the weekly 'clap for carers' to spread a little early Christmas cheer.
Residents in Hawthorne Avenue, Monton, decorated their front gardens with Christmas trees and Santa Claus toys on Thursday evening.
A number of them sat in their front gardens to have a chat and a drink with other neighbours, while observing social distancing measures.
One of those involved was Debbie Egglenton, a retired beautician. She said: "A lot of people are feeling quite lonely at the moment so we've decided to make a bit of a party out of it.
