Coronavirus doctor develops incredible new theory after gamble on dying patient

A doctor working on the frontline to fight against the deadly coronavirus has discovered an incredible new theory after taking a gamble on a dying patient.

Dr Hooman Poor was treating a patient at New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital and about to call her husband to explain to him there was nothing more they could do to save her.

But according to one theory, in the sickest of patients, little blood clots clog the lungs, reports News.com.au. With this theory in mind, Dr Poor took a risk and used a drug that treats patients who have had a stroke in an attempt to "bust" the blood clots. “I said, ‘what do we actually have to lose?’” he told The Associated Press. “That’s when I decided to give not just a blood thinner but a blood clot buster.” T
