Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario long-term care minister elaborates on new visitation guidelines

Ontario Minister of Long-Term Care Merrilee Fullerton on Thursday elaborated on the guidelines of a phased visitation plan for long-term care and retirement home residents, after Premier Doug Ford announced that homes without COVID-19 outbreaks would slowly begin allowing familial visits starting June 18.

According to Fullerton, for long-term care homes, this includes one visit per resident at a minimum of once a week for an outdoor visit only..
