iOS - Android Grants being made from the Scottish Government’s flexible fund aim to “help those at risk through health and social inequalities,” such as through providing access to food and medicines, and practical support in conjunction with voluntary groups.NLC will now broaden the criteria for its £100 winter, spring and summer hardship payments to include pupils who are eligible for school clothing grants but not free school meals.Families and individuals from disadvantaged groups, identified following referral from children, families and social work, will receive payments increased from £60 to £100 per person.Increased support will also be available for health improvements for older people, shielding individuals and vulnerable young.
