A creative baker has revealed how she constructed her own giant Jaffa Cake using just a handful of ingredients. The popular sweet treat contains a layer delicious orange jelly, sandwiched between a soft spongy layer and a dark chocolate topping.

And it turns out it's pretty simple to recreate at home - even if you fancy making one the size of your face rather than faffing about with those other bite-size versions.

Vanessa Cassidy shared her method with photos and a simple guide to do it yourself on the popular Rate My Plate Facebook page.

Many of the group's other members wasted no time in trying it out for themselves, posting photos of their own attempts in reply.
