A cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car, police have said. The man's injuries were described by police as 'life-threatening'.
No further details have been confirmed. Emergency services were called to Frederick Road in Salford on Easter Sunday at around 1.35pm.
The road was sealed off for investigations. At the time, GMP confirmed only brief details. Now the force has issued an updated statement, confirming the cyclist is in a serious condition after suffering life-threatening injuries.
No age for the man has been revealed. He hasn't been named. In the new statement, a GMP spokesman said: "At around 1.35pm on Sunday 12 April 2020 police were called to a report of a collision involving a car and a
