Dr Alex George has said he’s “humbled” aa he announced he’s been appointed the ambassador for mental health by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.The 30 year old Love Island star, who’s brother Llŷr tragically took his own life last year, said he hoped to make his late brother proud as he shared the news of his new role.

Dr Alex shared a photo of himself having a socially distanced discussion with PM Boris, 56, with cameras capturing the moment.

He then shared a screenshot of himself alongside the photo on Instagram, writing: “The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has appointed me as the Ambassador for Mental Health.
