Duchess Kate paid a virtual visit to an addiction treatment center in Wiltshire, England last week via video call to learn how the staff is continuing their work during the coronavirus lockdown.
The center is run by the duchess's patronage, Action on Addiction, and has continued live-saving services as social distancing measures continue during the pandemic.
A new poll found an uptick in addictive behaviors during lockdown for those who are in recovery. As the coronavirus lockdown continues in the U.K., so does the royal family's virtual philanthropic work.
Last week, the Duchess of Cambridge partook in another charity video call, this time linking up with an addiction treatment center in Wiltshire, in south west England.
