EastEnders star Scott Maslen has said he is still “waiting to hear” when he will return to filming. The actor, 48, told The One Show he was missing the friends he worked with on the BBC One soap.
He said: “The routine, really. I’m so used to the grind. It ain’t a grind really, it’s a great place to work. I’m missing all my friends.” Referring to updated Government guidelines, he added: “I think something came out today or yesterday regarding they are advising we can go back. “So I imagine it will be on that frontline of the first ones to go back.
I’m waiting to hear, really.” On-site production of the broadcaster’s continuing dramas – including Casualty, Holby City and Doctors – was paused in March in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
