Ellie Goulding is helping to ensure that homeless people stay connected during the coronavirus crisis by sourcing 400 mobile phones.
The 33-year-old singer joined forces with homeless charity Crisis in a bid to support rough sleepers who are struggling during the pandemic.
Working alongside her management team, TaP Music, they were able to get 400 mobile phones, all topped up with £20 of data. "We’re all worried about coronavirus, but people who are homeless are particularly exposed to and threatened by the pandemic," Ellie Goulding said.
She went on to explain that the initiative was just a small part of larger efforts to support rough sleepers. "Over the last few weeks we have seen an unprecedented and phenomenal effort to rehouse people
