Former Real Madrid president Fernando Martin in intensive care due to coronavirus

Just days after former Real Madrid chief Lorenzo Sanz passed away from coronavirus, a second ex-Real president, Fernando Martin, has been admitted into intensive care with COVID-19.

Martin was interim president of the La Liga giants for two months back in 2006 and is currently in a "serious" condition at the the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in Madrid.

The news comes after Sanz died in hospital after suffering with the virus for over a week before being admitted into hospital.
