A motorist was left fuming after he received seven parking tickets issued while he was visiting his wife after she was hospitalised for 12 days.
The fines, which will potentially cost Paul Gledhill a total of £700, occurred in early May after he used a Smart Parking facility near the University Hospital of North Tees.
Mr Gledhill says he has been using the car park for the past two years, while his wife, Kirsty, has been in and out of hospital.
On Sunday May 10, Mr Gledhill arrived at the almost empty car park to visit Kirsty, who had just begun a 12-day stay, reports Teesside Live.
