GEMMA Collins gave the nation false hope after being tricked into sharing a fake post that McDonald’s was reopening its restaurants.

The reality star was forced to apologise when she realised it wasn’t true and broke the disappointing news to her 1.6 million followers. ⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates The 39-year-old posted the official-looking notice to her Instagram Stories, which stated the fast food chain was set to open its doors from Monday 6th April.

It stated there would be special measures in place to respect the social distancing regulations set by the government, meaning there would be a restriction of two customers allowed in at any time.
