Gemma Collins has suffered a bloody accident while going about her day in lockdown. The former TOWIE star, 39, decided to put her time in quarantine to good use today by getting down to some DIY work.

Despite her good intentions, the GC was left in "agony" after she sliced her finger open while attempting to sand down a garden bench.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the reality TV star told her avid followers that she was involved in an "emergency". Gemma continued to document her DIY disaster by sharing a graphic video of her hand which was gushing blood.

In an attempt to ease the pain, she decided to run her sore finger under a tap and documented the gruesome moment with her Instagram fans. "I've got an emergency.
