The girlfriend of one of the Burnley fans behind the White Lives Matter banner has been sacked over alleged racist posts. Jake Hepple claimed responsibility for the banner which attracted widespread condemnation including from the Clarets and skipper Ben Mee.

Hepple, who expressed support for the EDL and posed next to its former leader Tommy Robinson in a social media snap, will face no further action from Lancashire Police after an investigation.

His girlfriend, Megan Rambadt, has been sacked by her employer Solace Foot Health and Reflexology, who issued a series of statements on Monday night.
