Burnley fan GoFundMe page pulled after 'White Lives Matter' banner stunt

Burnley ’s match with Manchester City. Following a Burnley fan’s decision to fly a plane banner over the Etihad Stadium on Monday night there has been a huge public backlash to those responsible for the stunt amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

Jake Hepple has taken responsibility for organising and paying for the 'White Lives Matter Burnley' banner and in the aftermath two pages were set up to raise money for him and his girlfriend, with the pair both recently sacked by their employers. 'Get behind Jake Hepple and Megan Rambadt' and another page were set up on the GoFundMe but the crowd funding platform have now removed both pages after telling LancsLive they had "violated our terms of service”.
