A dad and grandfather is now clear of Covid-19 after his family were told he had a 20 per cent chance of recovering from the virus.
Lee Seddon, of Swinton, no longer has coronavirus but is now learning to walk again after spending more than a month battling the disease in hospital.
The 45-year-old was first taken ill on March 22 and told his wife, Rachel, he felt like he was suffering from flu-like symptoms.
Following advice from a GP, Lee was taken to a Covid-19 centre but was diagnosed with gastroenteritis. Unfortunately, Lee's condition began to deteriorate and he began to struggle with his breath even when simply visiting the bathroom.
