Moss Side after drinking at a party, a court heard. Tammy Leach, 23, was more than double the drink-drive limit when she drove her Renault Clio on Fairman Street.

The health care assistant, from Preston, was moving the car to a different parking spot when she collided with two parked vehicles.

She had been drinking at a party earlier that evening, Manchester Magistrates Court heard. Police officers saw the incident and arrested Leach as she told them: "I should not have drunk and drove".

She provided a positive breath test which was recorded at 79 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.Leach has now been banned from driving for 17 months.
