The travel industry has been thrown into chaos by the government's decision to remove Spain from its quarantine-free travel list.
Amid fears it is on the brink of a second wave of coronavirus, the FCO has also removed Spain from its "safe list" of countries.
Thousands of holidays have been cancelled, while tourists currently in Spain are now facing a mandatory two week quarantine they neither expected nor prepared for.
It has left many people concerned about booking a holiday this summer, for fear more countries could be removed from the "air bridges" list.
