"Come on, Megan, you slow coach,” Liam shouted up to me from the bottom of the hill as he powered on in front of the group. “I’m coming,” I yelled to him, panting from the top of the hill, before quickening my pace.
It was a sunny day and we’d just passed the first waterfall on our family hike in the Brecon Beacons. Liam and I loved spending our weekends walking so when my mum and sister booked a short break in Wales and asked us to come along with my brother, we couldn’t refuse the offer.
Liam was still leading the group towards the second waterfall. As the sun beamed down onto my face, I watched as my boyfriend confidently strode along the grassy path in front.
