Singer Lulu made drastic lifestyle changes after 'frightening' GP diagnosis

Scots singer Lulu has opened up about getting frightening diagnosis from her doctor which prompted her to make drastic lifestyle changes.

The 75-year-old's Glasgow-born mother passed away to stomach cancer at the age of 68 and her heartbreaking loss made her become conscious of her own health.

Sadly, Lulu's father Eddie passed away from high cholesterol, which led her to monitor her own where she made a shocking discovery.

She previously told The Daily Star: “My GP told me that I had raised cholesterol. That really frightened me, as it's one of the biggest risk factors for coronary heart disease.
