NEW DELHI : India doesn’t need to depend on any other nation for covid-19 vaccines today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday while addressing the nation on 75th Independence Day.

Modi said that over 54 crores people have been vaccinated against covid-19. “It is a moment of pride for us that because of our scientists, we were able to develop two make in India vaccines and carry out the world's largest vaccination drive," said Modi.
