Kate Garraway has announced her beloved husband Derek Draper has died aged 56, after a three-year battle with Covid-19.The couple have been married for almost 20 years and share two children, Darcey, 17, and William, 14.

Good Morning Britain host Kate, 56, has been by Derek's side during his three-year battle with Covid-19 from adapting their family home to becoming his full-time carer.The couple first met in 2004 after they were introduced by former GMTV political correspondent Gloria De Piero.They tied the knot just a year later and welcomed their two children.
