Kate Garraway issued an emotional statement on Good Morning Britain following the heartbreaking death of her husband Derek Draper, 56.
Derek died on Friday 5 January following a lengthy battle with the complications of coronavirus. Over the festive season, Derek suffered a serious heart attack, with Kate announcing that she and their children Darcey, 17, and son William, 14, were by his side as he took his last breath.
On Monday, 8 January, Susanna Reid and her GMB co-presenter Richard Madeley addressed Derek's death on the ITV breakfast show.
