Jeff Daniels -- the Emmy Award-winning actor and musician whose latest song's lyrics are being enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame -- is certainly staying busy in quarantine.
And there may be more on his plate in the near future. If the novel coronavirus pandemic had not intervened, Daniels would be hunkered down in Pittsburgh filming Rust, a new Showtime drama he's executive producing based on Philipp Meyer's 2009 novel American Rust.
For now, however, he's back home with his family in Chelsea, Mich., where he's in the midst of a series of four weekly Monday night YouTube concerts benefiting his Purple Rose Theatre Company.
