Prince William and Kate Middleton were forced to break royal tradition with the birth of their first child Prince George because of an anniversary for the Queen, a royal expert has suggested.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed George to the world on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital in London on July 22, 2013.More than two years earlier, on April 29, 2011, Wills and Kate got married in one of the most-watched TV moments in history. But this time difference between their marriage and George being born was unusual in royal tradition, according to CNN Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter.“Historically, royal wives have tended to have their first baby within the first year of royal marriage,” she explained in soon-to-air Channel 5.
