Kourtney Kardashian books in for a vampire facial as often as her schedule allows. The reality TV star’s sister Kim Kardashian started the trend for the procedure, also known as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, all the way back in 2013 when the pair met with an aesthetician while filming an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
Even though Kim has since confessed regretting trying out the treatment due to the pain, in a new interview with Health magazine, Kourtney praised the concept. “I love platelet-rich plasma (treatments).
They take your blood and spin it, and then take the plasma and microneedle it (into your face). They call it the vampire facial.
