CHESTER, Pa. - Police say a 9-month-old girl is expected to survive after being shot in the head in Chester.It happened on the 400 block of Frank Young Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.The baby was first treated at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and has since been transported to DuPont for further treatment.The shooting appears to be accidental, according to police. Antibodies detected in white-tailed deer exposed to COVID-19 in 4 states, study says

Sikorsky helicopter plant in Coatesville to close

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Lockheed Martin said Thursday that it will close its Sikorsky helicopter plant in southeastern Pennsylvania, saying it has made a final decision on it amid a downturn in the commercial helicopter sector.The Maryland-based company said that, despite working with its customers and federal, state and local officials, it had been unable to secure enough additional work to sustain operations at the Coatesville plant.It said it would consolidate the work in other Lockheed Martin locations.
