NEW DELHI : With the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) extending the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown for two more weeks, the government has issued a new set of guidelines regarding what is allowed or restricted in Red, Orange and Green Zones.
Based on risk profiling, the government has divided areas into three zones. As per the government, the list of these zones will be updated on a weekly basis or earlier as required.
While Green Zones are districts with zero confirmed cases till date or no confirmed cases in the last 21 days, the Orange Zones are the districts that are neither defined as 'green nor red zones'.
The Red Zones or hotspot districts are defined by the Health Ministry after taking into account the total number of active cases
